That might be worth exploring. I did find a word add-on that converts all equations to images. If the image quality can be controlled on export from Word, this may be the way to go. Or, this may work: 1) Convert equations to images. 2) Convert Word to PDF. 3) Extract images from the PDF.

Speaking for myself, I say lazy and hard-headed. I can't stand doing "monkey work." Automation has made work more tolerable and efficient for clients and me. When a potential client tells me that they can't spend money on scripts, I wonder if their managers know how much time and accuracy is lost
