I think he might be talking about the spiders and others bots that are
taking email addresses from this list and sending them to spam companies.
Yes, I've gotten a ton of those adware / spybot parasites, mostly from web
sites in other countries (Dave surfs a lot, looking from graphics, gifs,
[sipped] I'm so sorry guys, I have filter to catch all From: lines with
gecko in
them and put them in my GGA folder, and it was bringing in stuff from a
gecko group on yahoo.
No problem, I did the opposite, LOL! I tried to set the filters when I
noticed random words like gecko, frog, etc,
Something must be done to stop this ridiculous wave
of spam. It is disgusting, annoying, and intrusive. I can
confidently say that it will harm membership, as I am about ready to
leave.

I have not been getting any spam from the gecko list. I know Greg as webmaster
feels strongly about this subject. It is puzzling that I would not get any
and obviously you feel you are getting some from the list. Greg? Anyone else
been getting spam from the gecko list?

I am new to the list, my friend Julie said it is a good place to talk about
gecko's. I really like geckos because they have so many pretty colors and
its really cool that they can climb glass. My favorite gecko is the crested
gecko. :)
