Neil has handled this... I wanted to include the rsync syntax to collect only directories... full or empty: So to collect all the directories regardless of your excludes put this before any excludes: --include=/**/ The trailing slash confines it to direcotories only. Thanks for the

I've pared down my system to a minimal state. emerge --depclean returns no actions needed, but I think it may have gotten a litte too exuberant. revdep-rebuild wants to rebuild python but the emerge fails here: Source unpacked.
