VistA uses the Data Extracts package to collect and pass out data
specifically for the purposes of management decisions support for budget
analysis, projection, business changes for better use of resources etc. The
tool used for the analysis is a COTS product ($).

dismissed by VHS IT at that time, and now sites are PAYING for it as

I am not qualified to comment on the VistA applications or on the level
of interest in a light business intelligence tool.
However, if you are running VistA on GT.M, you will need KB_SQL
(http://www.knowledgebasedsys.com) for SQL/ODBC access to VistA.

Yes I think we would be interested.
We are running Vista on Caché. All of the data that you would need is mapped
so you can use SQL queries to fetch the data.
