The OMVS environment DOES NOT RUN IN YOUR TSO ADDRESS SPACE! This is not true! The OMVS TSO command processor has got an option SHAREAS|NOSHAREAS (the former being the default) to tell it whether to run the shell in the TSO address space or not. -- Peter Hunkler
