For the records: Here is some information about the new yet undocumented reason code returned by IGGCSI00 (citation): The new 100-10 return/reason code from catalog was introduced by APAR OA35437 and will be issued when a generic request (CSI, ISPF 3.4, LISTCAT LEVEL) encounters a catalog

After z/OS 1.12 RSU1106 IGGCSI00 returns entry error indicator for first time

After activting z/OS V1.12 RSU1106, an STC started to loop every now and then. It turned out there was a bug in our assembler code reading data set entries from the catalog using IGGCSI00. The code did not correctly handle the case when IGGCSI00 marked an entry in the workarea to be in error.
