Hi!
Is Mozilla Thunderbird a good alternative to Outlook and WLM as e-mail client?
If so, which version should I look för?
Running Windows 8 and Jaws 14.

Yes, it is a good alternative.
I use 17.0, but there are more updated versions which work well.

the iTunes store doesn't seem to work well with jaws11.
can i downgrade iTunes so the store will work with jaws 11?
also i have a iPod touch 4th gen, and was wondering if it wood work if i
downgraded iTunes?
How is it not working? Press your JAWSKey+space and then you hear the
clicking. Then press s. JAWS will say, speech off. When you press
those keys the same way again, JAWS speech will return.

Hello list,
I just thought Id let folks know since this issue has come up previously

I'm sure someone has had this problem in the past but I can't find any
reference to it. How do you turn off the auto-numbering feature in Word

It's driving me bonkers.
I'd rather put in my own numbers when and where I need them.
Any help would be most welcome.

Hi John,
Give any of the following a try. These are several notes from various
sources that I've saved regarding this topic.
1. While in an open Word document, press Alt+F followed by Alt+T to go
into the Word options.
2. Use down arrow twice to the Proofing tab.
3. Use tab key one time to the
Hi,
Try alt f to go to the backstage, then go into options, and then into
proofing. And then into auto format as you type and there should be a place
to uncheck auto numbering. Hope that will set you in the right direction.

Hello,
I am also using JAWS 14, Windows 8, and I am currently using WLM. I
have tried using Thunderbird, but once I get it set up, and start reading
e-mail, JAWS will say Mozilla Thunderbird twice before I read each e-mail.
I have heard good things about Thunderbird, and would like to
Hi
If you go to the Navigation Paine, (the Outlook 2010 name), when you press
the home key, you will be taken to the top of the folder list. The list
under this folder only shows the folders that are directly in that folder.
This is your high level Outlook folder. To find the unlisted folders,
It seems that in some JAWS upgrades this inconvenience is fixed, but
then it comes back.
I haven't figured out how to fix it myself, so I deal with it,
considering how otherwise user-friendly TB is.
Just press your control key to sop the repetition or turn auto read off.

Hello Maria,
I think I will give it another try. Is there a certain version I should

I appreciate your help.

That might be for your mouse pad on a lenovo, but totally different
for a dell. Not all laptop and netbook use the same key combos for
the same actions.
