Hello,
I am currently using the Pearl camera for my scanning needs. Works
well with JAWS but lacks the precision I need with some scanning
tasks. I am looking for recommendations for an easy to use, setup,
and JAWS friendly flatbed scanner. I do not want an all in one unit,
simply a scanner.
Hi Jorge
I went and looked around in mail but did not see anything to change to solve
my problem. Can you suggest what I might change to just get the person's
name announce by jaws instead of the person name and email address?

one. There are more advanced scanners than this one but, I've

After going to the reading pane you hit the spacebar to select it. When the
next screen comes up you tab to okay and hit enter. When the screen after
that comes up you tab to okay and hit enter. I don't know why this works,
but it does.

Hi Alan,
If you just plug it in, Win7 will find the drivers it'll work just fine
but, it does come with a disk for additional program installation , it does
come with a USB cable.
