The decision has been made, but just a final comment from someone who wrote VFO about this several months ago ... I can understand the potential problems of a spoken password in the workplace, but for those using JAWS For Home Use, rather than the professional version, I can see no security risk.

i don't see a big deal here. the stars are still there if you hear the keys you press or not. i only want the keys i press to be spoken like window eyes does so i don't have to keep typeing my passwords in note pad and copying and pasteing them into the password edit box every time. the stars

thank you. i found one that will speak what i type in as i am typeing them in. but it also shows the passwords with passwords i have saved. its called show me the password. there are a few options like only show the password when you click on a button. or when the edit field has focus too.
