I truly mean no offence or to disparage. Flat
coat Labradoodles do not sell well and because there are literally hundreds of
BYB passing these dogs out like candy it is hard for the ethical breeders to
sell them. I know many ethical breeders of early generation Labradoodles
who have
In this case I would not breed F1 to F1,
if they were actually curly coats then it would be ok. Just go F1b next
time.

Word of advice on shaving dogs~
The Labradoodles coat insulates them from
the hot summer sun and traps air between the layers keeping them cool. There
are a few things you can do to help them stay cool such as: shaving their belly,
inner legs, pits and under ears chin.
If you do
I would agree- I was simply commenting on the question prompted by another
persons recommendation.
Belly bands are typically only used by breeders for their stud boys or by
owners whose dog is incontinent.
We feel that proper training is key.

You may also try to bathe him using Head n' Shoulders, we have used it and
it does work. I agree with Carol who recommended less frequent bathing.
Your Labradoodle (depending on type) only needs bathed 1 to 2 times a year
with soap, other times he should be fine if hosed off. Brushing your dog
Great advice Carol- I would also add that consistency is key, you cant let
the pup chew or bite one time but not another. The pup will get confused by
the message and you will have no success at teaching No Bite.
By The Way- Check out the up dated pictures of Atta's puppies! Only one

Donna,
I am a breeder of the Australian Labradoodle~ You may find that your ALD
does not blow his coat some ALD's never do. While some will experience a
slow change of coat and will notice that the hair will start to change
starting along the spine near the tail or between the shoulders and
You have to wipe those areas every time! Gosh don't you just love these
dogs!

Allow your dog to wear his leash in the house, when he jumps step on the
leash and say DOWN or OFF and give him a treat when he doesn't try to repeat
the jumping.
Good luck

O Hare will not take puppies until April, they do this every year due to
weather. You are going to have to ship to Milwaukee (1 N) or Indianapolis
(3 hours SE). I promise, I have done this enough to know!

What tests have your completed on your female? What size is she? What size
do you hope to produce? What type of coat does she have? What type of coats
do you hope to produce? Have you ever bred your girl before?
How do you plan to sell your puppies (online, already sold/waiting list,

Is this the same dog that you are looking for a stud for? If so forget
about breeding her! If you don't have breeding rights and you don't know
where is from she is most likely a puppy mill puppy and you have no idea if
she has a pedigree loaded with health issues and will only cause families
should just enjoy her and leave the breeding to
the experts. Thanks again.

There is one that is mobile and has no wires, just a base and a collar.
Kind of like a cordless phone. I think that would be great for a large yard
and just one dog.
Sorry I don't know who makes it.
Here is a link to a thread on another forum that discussed different
systems.
Carol,
Did you have yours installed by a company or did you do it yourself? I want
to get one for a small area of my property.
Just an FYI for you Carol~ Coco Beans finally went to her new home in CA and
is doing well. I am pregnant and sick does not even describe it! I am only
keeping Atta
to you! :)

Labs are very oral dogs and communicate by mouthing. You may find

Congratulations on your litter. Please review the International Labradoodle
