Hi Jeri
While we are on the subject of washing, a question that has been in my mind
for a while. In my washing machine I use 'Ecozone Ecoballs' from
www.healthy-house.co.uk that are fragrance free and claim to be chemical free.
I don't know if they can be used for hand washing but would they be
Ou t of curiosity (as I live in America and have no tech nical knowledge to
add to washing lace), I looked to see what these balls are! Their

Hi Sue,
I have seen this piece of lace in the Czech Republic this summer, at a

Dear Alex,
You addressed the question to me about Ecozone Ecoballs. I am not a
chemist. I write for the person who has family lace or newly-purchased old

and wants to clean it. Nothing is completely foolproof, because
lacemakers and lace collectors are all over the world,
Hi Alex:
Still awaiting a reply about the Ecozone Ecoballs that can be used
separately
from the Bluemagic ball.
I found this product on the website you gave. Clicking on it will bring up a
menu page that lets you find the ingredients and the percentage of their use
in the product. I was

this is not about lace making but I am hoping that you spiders of much
knowledge will tell me the sort of glues I might use to restick a crystal
type stone back into a piece of jewellry. My DH cleaned it in the machine
yesterday and one of the stones fell out.
I used to make jewellry many
Thank you, you lovely spiders, grin.
You didn't let me down and we have the glue mentioned by several so will be
able to repair it.
