Hi Cathy and others, If you want to keep everything in your transfer to a new Legacy file, use the direct transfer. Do not go through the gedcom and import, just export to a new Legacy file, then delete the Private material. I just did that with a descendant narrative report for the upcoming

Hi Lloyd, I said go via Gedcom as with direct Legacy transfer you can only remove Private material. You can't remove Research Notes, To Dos, only include Sources marked for printing, suppress details for living people etc without going the Gedcom route. It would be great if we could have

Geoff, There is something else that needs to be implemented. That is to give the user the option of where to install PE. I tried it out yesterday and it installed automatically on my C drive, which is too small (I have added another much larger drive on which I load programs and keep data).
