I have found the 2 family files, one named Legacy family file 4.0 and the
other named the Nill family. I can't compare them as I have the standard Legacy

I have and adoption on one child who was adopted by the mothers 2nd husband, I
have the child listed as under bio father and mother, and adopted father and
bio mother, I only want it to show up in a descendants report under the 2nd
marriage.
There is a BUG REPORT on them already. Have gone around Parent Child
Relationship by deleting them. Added them to Child Status a nice side effect
is that they shown on the Family View screen which is nice.
Since the 118 up date this is the first time we have started to work on

Under Family Group Report, Report Options, if the RINs MRINs box
is unchecked, you will not have RINs or MRINs on your Family Group
Record.
If it is checked, then both will appear.
It would appear you cannot choose to print only RINs.
I am using the latest version 6.0.0.118 of Legacy.

No the option is not available any longer. If you search the archives

No, there is no digest option with this list.
Suggest you set a filter in your mail box to extract list mail and
direct it to its own folder, so it is kept away from your other mail.
You can then concentrate on it when it suits you, and ignore it when it
doesn't.

On one of the older versions of Legacy there was a screen (tab) right behind

Hi Nick,
To delete To Dos
You can go to the To Dos from the icon on the Toolbar or View To Do List
Make sure the Drop down box at the top has All To Dos showing rather
than just General To Dos or Individual To dos.
Highlight a To Do in the list - then Options - Delete etc. You don't

Hi Russ,
No, the step that corrected the missing colours was Resetting the
Ancestor Colours - Tools Apply Ancestor Colours.
Note that you can Set Relationships to one person and Ancestor

Re-setting the relationships doesn't add the Ancestor Colour to the
ancestor
I used as events the various bridal showers for my

Hi All,
In family view, when you input a citation the item name (say birth)
can be made to change colour so you know that item has a source.
HELP how do I turn that on.
Thanks in anticipation

Thanks. As I feared there is no simple way. I'll try
your process but if it is too time consuming I may
abandon the To Do process and do something else,
possibly use paper!!

In my desire to minimize ink usage, My ToDos use:
BC HI 1858 Taylor, James Townsend
I leave off all verbs. (they are implied anyway).
BC = birth Certificate.
MC = marriage certificate
I include more details in the task description.

Jenny,
You are correct in saying that the relationships listed above each person
*do* appear automatically as each new person is entered, but try this:
Create a new island family with husband H, wife W, son S, and daughter D.
Now go to any End of line ancestor and add a parent bt linking to
