I wish that legacy would allow you to attach PDF files instead of JPG
files... I scan all of my source documents into PDF file and try to
transcribe them into text as well. I then merge the text and image PDF's
together.
Search the archives and you will find several
between it
and Legacy.
I would prefer a 4th icon, Other, besides Picture, Sound and video.

decided to give it a try. I scanned a copy of a document and saved the
picture as a .jpg. I viewed it, to be sure it was readable then saved a copy
where I keep my Legacy photos. Then I went to Legacy to attach the picture

I have hundreds of documents scanned into my sources. I find the feature
invaluable. But there is a trap in viewing
Thank you Ron and Paul. I was clicking on the thumbnail to open it, but then not zooming in close enough. Now I can read them.
As far as what size I am using, I must admit that I do not know. I use either my printer's scan program (Leaxmark) or Adobe Photoshop and usually just leave the defaults
Hi Nancy,
It's worth learning a little bit about resolution and picture size.
Legacy provides a good introduction at:
