Hi Joseph,
If you use the Ancestor and Descendant Interest like tags, you have
another 8 :-)
Just keep a note somewhere of what each number means as you don't
have a field to fill in like the real tags.

Have you checked your master locations list and verified your short location
names. Sounds like maybe in the transfer all the short location names got
reset to match the long location names. I know when a new location gets

The general option to use short locations does not work. This is a known
problem with charting. To use short names you must go to the appearance
Ribbon, select Box items and select the short location option for each
item which includes a location. In your old computer you had probably

I don't know - it's something in the software, a third-party program.

Thanks Sherry. Has anyone within Legacy thought to find out what the

If there are problems or bugs in the main Legacy Family Tree program,

Hi Bernie,
I expect the no partial icons for you is simply a matter of your screen
size (or settings) compared to mine. Not something to worry about.
I'm not sure which option you may need to display these information

This is exactly how I handle all my mail lists. When I set a list message
stream to filter to archive or trash, I set a reminder in my Calendar to turn
off the filter in one or two weeks' time
