Consider trying Evernote for notetaking. I use it on laptop, Android
phone, Samsung Galaxy tablet desk computer--syncs on all of them. Also
includes option to take photos--great with phones--and clip web images.
Works really well.

Not sure how you could even remotely think that note taking software would be
considered a Legacy add-on. I would think it is pretty obvious what is a
legitimate add on and what is a stretch of imagination.

Thanks Sally, someone else recommended Evernote. I'm going to try it. Looks

Yes, it was after seeing the Family App webinar that I was wondering about note

I'm so glad I attended yesterday's seminar on the Families app for Legacy. I

I rarely enter data in the field on my Kindle Fire, but it is absolutely great

I recently installed Families on my Iphone4s and it's small but
readable. It would be nice to be able to enlarge certain areas if you
were having trouble reading something by 'stretching' the screen (some
apps but not all allow you to do that) but it's perfect for my needs -

I bought a netbook for out of home usage. It runs all my apps just

and easy to travel with to wherever you go. It is the same size as my

I use Families on both an Android phone and an iPad 2. Both devices have

I just consulted with an owner of an iPad 3 this morning about taking

not what he likes as a fast typist. He also tried using a program on

I think I've decided to just use Families to have on trips as reference
material (not to enter data.) Since I don't think I can yet budget for a
monthly smartphone data plan, I will try one of the tablets--between the

Question: is this pinch

I can pinch on both my Android phone and the iPad - of course it is much
easier to see on the tablet, and one of the great extras in using
Families.

Did you mean livescribe (it is a pen you write with and it records

No it's not. Lightscribe is software for burning labels onto CDs
The new iPad has a note app on it. Another one that is recommended to me quite
often is Evernote. Haven't used either so can't give thumbs up or down.
