I think I have mentioned this before - but I have created several 'people'
with the first name an unknown and surname man (without the quotes). I
always create a new person when I need to use this, otherwise it would show
that an unknown man had several different children with different women.
I am looking at tblSX (Source Detail) and am finding some Type's that I
cannot figure out what they are used for. Specifically 15, 16, and 17.
The best I can figure is that 15 and 16 point to tblIR (Individual
record) and 17 points to tblCR (Child Record). Can anyone figure out
what these Type's
I currently have the children from two marriages entered with their
biological parents, after entering a new Marriage (husband from one
marriage and wife from another) how do I get the children from both
marriages to show up under the new family?
Thanks,
Lee

Dave,
I guess my question is really How do I enter the children in the New
Marriage? Do I leave them in the two previous families, and add them to
the new marriage also or remove them from the previous?
If they are removed from the first marriage when you view the family of
the child,only
Oh I misunderstood your question. You enter them according to their actual
parents. So for husband A and wife A, you'd enter their children. Then go
into husband A, change to wife B and enter their children. Now if the
Show 1/2 kids is turned on, you'll see all of the children no matter
They are not children of the new marriage, so the only way is to put
them in as adopted

You really should not use adopted unless it is court ordered. Just
having custody, as this situation appears to be, is not adoption.

In the Children's settings window you can specify Biological Father,
Step Mother etc., But I don't see where that appears after it is entered.
