Is this happening for everyone or just a particular couple?
Are you using an English version of Legacy or one of the language
versions? I'm aware that there is some problem in Dutch but it wasn't in

There may be an easier way, but the following will work:
For an individual with a shared event, open the event, highlight the event
and click "Share". Click the dropdown arrow in the Role, and select
"Add/Edit Roles". The Role List will appear. Click Add, Edit, or Delete
Role, depending on
View - Master Lists - Event Definitions - highlight your Event choose
Edit and then the tab for Shared event roles.
Highlight the role and click edit.
