Is there any particular reason why you use 2.18 and not 2.19? Don't be afraid of the term "unstable version", it works fine :-). I would advise you to use Frescobaldi http://lilypond.org/easier-editing.html as editor, this is a great help especially for new users. Greetings Manuela
