had no problems watching or recording anything.

Thanks to John and Jesper for the prompt reply. I tried that, and things looks a
little different.
I do this on one screen and leave it running:
tzap -a 0 -r BBC ONE
using '/dev/dvb/adapter0/frontend0' and '/dev/dvb/adapter0/demux0'
reading channels from file '/root/.tzap/channels.conf'
tuning to
BRate: 4.35 Mbit/s
However, no actual screen appears!! Also, I can hear nothing but hissing
through
the speakers...

for some reason (not sure yet) it defaults to BBC News 24. This isn't a

reason not all of the channels listed in channels.conf appear on the xine

I used the scan utility rather than tzap. Find a frequency
in your windows channel list, then make a file analagous to
scan/dvb-t/uk-Oxford, mine looks like this:

For 2.6.3, you'll need to _not_ use the in-kernel drivers, and use the latest
from CVS instead; it should support it. I think dvb-kernel release 1.1.1
should support it as well, but the CVS one has several speedups to tuning.

Have emailed earlier about problems with two or more filter, with output set
to DMX_OUT_TAP. When reading, the first filter would stop reading once the
second filter had been set up, and the second filter would read data, which
is a mix of the data from both filters.
Suggestions given to

go back to the spec and read it again.

the driver first loads since any cards present are unlikely to be tuned
to a valid channel. Once a tuning has been made, then activate the
