Ben, I don't see this at all. LyX loads and renders .ps files with pathnames ../PS/file.ps fine. It also creates DVI files fine, oth with File-ExportDVI and with View-DVI. Note though that if the PostScript files are large, and they're being scaled, rotated etc, then this can take some time

Lars, I notice that running 1.1.6 for the first time still results in "menus.bind" being the bind file. Whilst it would be good to find the real cause of this problem, I think that a one line fix to lib/configure is needed for the 1.1.6 release. Angus Index: ChangeLog
