Sweave - No information for exporting the format PDF (pdflatex).

I have just installed, Lyx/Sweave on ubuntu 10.04 on an Asus eeepc 901. I have upgraded to Lyx 1.6.7 using the repository at http://ppa.launchpad.net/lyx-outline-devel/lyx-stable/ubuntu Followed the instructions at http://ggorjan.blogspot.com/2010/01/lyx-sweave-on-ubuntu-karmic.html to install

Liviu, I have managed to fix this. The preferences file had downloaded as preferences.txt. But looking at my other installs, I noticed it has no extension, so I deleted the ,txt, and everything now works. Can't say I remember deleting this before, but its now working. Thanks for your help..
