Re: keyboard bindings colliding?
hi again, ok, i found the part in de.po. will i change things by changing "Anzeigen|A" to "Anzeigen|V"? is this enough to make the german translation expect a M-v vor this menu? Hmmm... I can't remember if XForms allows this or not. Usually it expects the 'V' to match a letter in menu entry. Try it. it works. i changed the $LYXSRCDIR/po/de.po file in line 686. i replaced "Anzeigen|A" with "Anzeigen|V". this seems to free M-a again so i can bind it to paragraph style in my bind-file and i can access the "Anzeigen" menu with M-v like in the english version. thx for the hint, allan. Oh, not just one or two entries. They changed the entire menu structure and now I have to figure out what I'm going to do: retrain my fingers from pressing M-f d for a regeneration of the dvi to M-v d or C-x p or do something else. So you aren't the only one ;-) do you know about any reason for this change? have i missed something in the docs? thorsten Thorsten Mika mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Hamm / GermanyTM5173-RIPE

If you set landscape paper then foilheads are printed on the landscape paper. If you don't set landscape then rotatefoilhead prints in landscape. So you see, if you want all your foilheads to be printed in landscape mode you should set the landscape paper option. so i did A4, landscape, and this is fine when i use psstill to rotatem an d then use acroread but gv still cut the right part (like it would be a portrait margin). the text is in there, as u can see in portrait mode, the bottom part is there. so ot seems to be a gv part. am i the only one to have this issue (release of gv in M 7.2), or is it a known issue ? despite i have a workaround, im using a shareware (ie not OSS), and it s a two steps process, so its not a long term solution. I have a problem with 1.1.6 (and 1.1.6pre2): In my documents (created with 1.1.5) all the included eps files are not displayed correctly. hi again, ok, i found the part in de.po. will i change things by changing "Anzeigen|A" to "Anzeigen|V"? is this enough to make the german translation expect a M-v vor this menu?

1.1.6 displays graphics incorrect
I have a problem with 1.1.6 (and 1.1.6pre2): In my documents (created with 1.1.5) all the included eps files are not displayed correctly. It seems to me that the preview in lyx shows only a part of the graphic but does not scale it down so that it fits in the border. In the resulting dvi-file everything is fine. Rainer Hoffmann

Keyboard problem - LyX 1.1.6
Hi! Thank you very much for producing new version of LyX. I have just compiled it and try to write something. There is some strange behaviour in my keyboard. I cannot select text (arrows keys + shift), move cursor left or right (with Ctrl + arrows), etc. In pre-2 release everything was fine and I didn't change anything in my setup. I'm running LyX under SuSE 7.0 & KDE2. Under KDE 1.1.2 everything is also OK. What can be the problem? Sincerely, Sasa

I foolishly didn't save the items, am unable to find what I remember through www.google.com, and despite the new sections in the LyX user guide and customization help files I'd appreciate if someone would post a pointer to a guide, or perhaps a brief summary instruction, on how to configure lyx-1.1.5 (lyxrc) features like \fax_program "tkhylafax -file $$FName" or \custom_export_command envelope [using ascii export] into the preferences of lyx-1.1.6? maybe that this also happens in 1.1.5 ... when i define a lyx layout with a strict flushright ... Hello, I am sorry to bother you again with DocBook, but I have noticed that choosing a langage in lyx doesn't change the output.
