My father in law committed suicide on Easter Sunday
morning in 1969.He had been in a car accident and his
wife was in the hospital. She couldn't go to his
funeral and never got through the pain of it.
I have had friends and a friend of my son commit
suicide.
Assisted suicide may be different. I
a wonderful doctor who
helped me get through the guilt of losing two babies
and being the one to live.
I had three girls after that and I live to see them
living good lives. 8 in all. LaVona

You are absolutely correct.
I lived next to my father in law for twenty year in a
small town. When he committed suicide it was I who got
the telephone calls. That was hard to deal with. I
talked as simply as possible about it knowing that
people were shocked and most really cared.
That did help
I am 72 and have clients who are in their 60s who
still want to get rid of the pain. I am amazed at
their strength to get through the negative and
therefor value and respect themselves. The negative
people around them have to make some changes too.
