Is there value I can adjust to allow more memory for this function? I
aligned 3 1.2GB genomes but am unable to open the alignment file in the
mauve GUI. If this is not possible could anyone recommend a different
application to use for visualization? Thanks.
Exception in thread Thread-1
Aaron,
I can’t seem to get the latest version of Mauve to run on my windows
laptop. The program exits with the same error code when writing the guide
tree. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
Running alignment.
Executing
win64\progressiveMauve
--output=K12_TolC_Alignment
Aaron,
I can’t seem to get the latest version of Mauve to run on my windows laptop
or workstation. I've tried alignments using two different bacterial
genomes but the program exits with the same error code when writing the
guide tree each time. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks.
As far as I know there is no way to have the file/sample names appended to
the guide tree. The sequence order is the order in which the files were
added in the alignment setup. I've been manually changing the seq names in
the guide tree file. If there is another way of doing it I'd love to hear
Aaron,
Could the guide tree be used to group samples within a serotype or would
that too be a misinterpretation?
