Just to let you know in advance I use some really bizarre words and if it's in
the English dictionary (UK version) I will use
There's no difference both words have the same meaning.
In the USA you use oriented and in the UK orientated is widely used.
It's just one of those words.
Some examples of different usage would be.
Boot (UK) and Trunk (USA)
Rubbish (UK) Garbage (USA)
Trousers (UK) Pants (USA)
