Hi Catherine,
Good to hear from you, and much thanks for your involvement in the
discussion.
Firstly, I must apologise for the rather long response. I could only
answer some of your questions mainly because the email would of gone for
ages, so hopefully this is enough...
it seems as though

Hello everyone,
I'd like to share some thoughts about the fly for art topic.
First of all, I haven't taken the pledge because I've actually got a flight
booked for next month. But I rarely fly for art, so I don't think it will
make much difference anyway.
I think the problem is much bigger than
my understanding of this pledge was that it was aimed at punters rather than
artists. i wouldn't fly to reykjavik to see the sugarcubes, i'd wait until
they turned up playing a gig in brighton [where i live] or london. the band

Hi, I don't have a high-flying art career. I have a pretty big
carbon footprint, though.
But it seems as though this project is negatively motivated,

Hello Marc Ruth,
I have signed up - I know it's mad, but I have a worrying feeling that most
people out there are more likely to choose their careers and carry on with
their flights, over the planet's safety. It is an extremely challenging
request.
We'll see - great idea by the way.

Hi Karen,
I know it's a tall order, this is why we have only begun by asking for 6
people to kick it off.
We only set it up about 15-20 minutes ago, we've got till 26th April,
and 2 (including yourself) have already signed up.
So, I am hopeful...
Thanks for signing up by the way :-)

pledge deadlines; )

art-flights before 26th April, check out the comments:-
