LuaTeX has no problem with the file.

I’m reading through the details manual and set up some figures as
sidefloats that are offset to the margin. This works well.
Now I’d like to have their captions in the margin, below the figure.
If I set location=innermargin, then the caption is beside the image,
i.e. somewhere at

agree with Lua that the variables in question are not defined, so using them
causes a `nil` to appear which can't be indexed or called. Something else must
be expected to set up the undefined variables somewhere...

Don't worry... I've read contextgarden on lots of things and missed more
than you've ever thought of I reckon! The answer to problems is usually
in there somewhere, but finding it can be a bit of challenge sometimes.

I think it’s better to have (and manage) your own account somewhere and
