Hi Mikael,
Thanks for your explanation and the example you sent about
\definemathsimplealign (I didn’t get immediately that « sesac » in the command
\startmathfenced[sesac] means « cases » in reverse or mirrored… I guess this is
a wise and humourous choice by Hans :-) ).

I suppose you need 'postponing'. See

Hi,
is it possible to combine figuresymbol with some kind of \useurl?
The goal is to have an inline symbol that provides a http url link.

If your question is of interest to others as well,
I want to have a float (illustration for fiction, with caption) that takes up
just one page, irrespective of the size of the image in the figure. This can
be done with a \startmakeup, but makeup pages do not float, as near as I can
tell; they interrupt the text (leaving a partly blank page);

Hi Hans,
Thank you for the new upload and the improvements you mention about the
handling of math stuff. Thanks also to Mikael for the follow up of these
matters.
I noticed that in math mode the command \cal does not work anymore and one has

Hi Thomas,
Not sure whether it helps or not, but in regards to combinations and Lua I
have had some challenges as well, but Hans' and Wolfgangs' solution with
externalfigures works fine for me now:

And here comes question 2, a very basic one: on A4 landscape pages, I want to
place two images next to each other (like the spread pages of a book). What
would be the preferred way of the really competent users to do this, again
keeping in mind that I want to loop over page numbers in a pdf
Dear all,
For a small project, I have two questions (without MWE…) on processing xml via
Lua and context. I’ll write two messages so eager volunteers can reply more
easily!
So question one: given an xml structure like this

Hello All,
I'm trying to render a table stored in XML JATS format
(https://jats.nlm.nih.gov/archiving/) and eventually want to use the

\setupTABLE [column] [\xmlpos{#1}] [align=\xmlatt{#1}{align}]
Including \xmlpos{#1} I get
Hi everyone,
I have a document with lots of maths. I am using \start...\stoplinenumbering to
place line numbers in the inner margins with
\setuplinenumbering

The weird thing is I have many display math blocks that break across page(s)
