at dusk, or about 30 minutes past sunset, the 17 Canvasbacks
(including 10 bright adult males) near Riverbank State Park were on
the Hudson (very near shore) on the north side, or adjacent with about

Google Maps. Presumably east of Ditch Plains? How do you access? Walk from DP?

Kevin Topping just found a Dovekie in the surf at Bragans Pt, just around the
bend from Ditch Plains.

I have not seen anyone else post an update about these birds today: the
Black Guillemot was seen in its usual place by about a dozen observers
around midday today. I was not able to see the Little Gull nearby, and as
far as I know no one else was either, though a Black-headed Gull was
present.

A RAZORBILL was feeding along the inlet rocks just before the =
fisherman's parking lot. Beautiful close up views.
Approaching the inlet walking along the ocean, the sky was filled with =
NORTHERN GANNETS (about 150) fishing and plunging into the ocean. I =

Female, with Commons, same area as Eared Grebe was (not yet today) well west of
Sr Citizens lot west of main lot. Close to beach on the Sore Thumb spit.
