On Monday, just past high tide, there were between 500-1000 shorebirds crowded on the sliver of sand, and we remained behind the dune so as not to disturb them. There was a mix of predominately Sanderlings and Semi-palmated Sandpipers, with Dunlin, Turnstones, a few Willets and about a dozen
