Les sent me the results of the Almonte Bicycle Club's Tuesday June 18th
40km TT for posting, and there were some really great times. Paul Datars
was first with an all-time PB of 55:51, Rock Sudac a strong second in
58:04 (also a PB), and Jamie Johnson, a first timer on this course, did

72 people entered the Aug 8 Open Time Trial, with, as of yet, no known

There was an ABC 40km time trial this morning - and it was interesting.
There were actually more women than men (eleven versus 10), and a new
women's course record of 63:56 was set by Sheila Kealey. Second amongst
the women was Allison McKay with a new PB of 65:31, and third was Ellen
And are we going to put in a gender-handicap to make the event even more
competitive. (We can still award trophies for the best within each gender).
Probably a lot more women would be interested in competing if this was done.
Maybe we'd even outnumber the men as we did at the Almonte 40k TT
