I'll try. I wonder if it's because I'm running on windows xp. I should be getting the Visual C++ IDE this week so I'll try to build everything. Not sure if this is useful in helping debug things, but when I first started outlook or the installer, it complained about not having msvcp7d.dll and msvcr7d.dll. So I downloaded these files and put them in the %SYSTEM% directory. I'm not sure if the downloaded dlls are compatible. I'll looked in the .cpp files (I think mstore.cpp) and noticed that where dbFilename was used, it is declared. I'll try to build the mstore32.dll file next week and I'll let report my status. Hi, I did these manual steps and I was able to create a profile and add the open connector service to a profile. Manual steps: 1) added open connector service (fro otlkcon.ini file) to mapisvc.inf 2) copied mstore32.dll, smlog.dll, and sqlite32.dll to %SYSTEM% directory 3) added open connector service to a profile However, when I start outlook a dialogue window pops up saying: Debug Error! Program: c:\progra~1\micros~2\office11\outlook.exe Module: c:\windows\system32\mstore32.dll File: the variable "dbFilename" is being used without being defined. Any ideas? Perhaps I'm missing something during my manual process since I wasn't able to get the installer to work. Hi, I ran the installer and I get an error with a dialog popup saying: "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor."
