Re: [otrs] Dynamic Fields... direct access in the DB
Hi, I would do it that way: * Create a new table wingo_df_values (field_id, field_key, field_value) with unique (field_id, field_key) * change the backend module for Dropdown fields where the possible values are stored to the new table (every time the dynamic field is changed) * use that new table in the SQL query - Renée Am 10.06.2016 um 14:13 schrieb Olivier Macchioni: Hello dear list, I’m trying to export a list of tickets directly from the OTRS DB - I’m computing 20 columns, there are 7 joins… the request is not that small… And it takes approx. 50 seconds to generate 5’000 rows I need. Knowing that I will eventually need to export much more than 5’000 rows, this is not acceptable. If I remove *only* the 4 columns where I compute the value of some “Dropdown” dynamic fields linked to tickets, the times drops down to 3 seconds… So I must be doing something wrong in the way I compute the value of dynamic fields…. or maybe the design of the DB itself is suboptimal? The best solution I’ve found so far is a poor man’s parser on the YAML content of dynamic_field.content: SELECT id, (SELECT regexp_replace(config, '.*' || dynamic_field_value.value_text || ': ([^\n]+)\n.*', '\1') FROM dynamic_field_value JOIN dynamic_field ON dynamic_field.id = dynamic_field_value.field_id WHERE dynamic_field_value.object_id = ticket.id AND object_type = 'Ticket' AND dynamic_field.name = 'Category') AS "Category" FROM ticket WHERE ticket.tn = '10479715' Does anyone have a better idea? Re: [otrs] Ticket History
Hi, 1) TicketID != TicketNumber . You can get the TicketID via the URL, you can see in the browser. Open the ticket and you should see something like Action=AgentTicketZoom;TicketID=... 2) Maybe the agent didn't move the ticket himself/herself, but did an action that triggered an event module or an generic agent 3) Where your otrs log is stored depends on your system. On Windows it's in in the OTRS_HOME/var/log folder, but on Linux many systems use Syslog as the logging backend. Then you have to look at /var/log/syslog Kind regards, Renée On 20.08.2015 21:34, Nick Bright wrote: On 8/20/2015 1:27 PM, jan.dre...@bertelsmann.de wrote: Hi. No, you could try and look into the webservers’ access log. Look for the ticket-id. That may give you some insight. But usually you can count on OTRS’ logging: If it says user XY moved a ticket, he did. Of course it’s possible he/she wasn’t careful with his/her login credentials, so someone else fiddled with the data as that user. If that is a good excuse is on your decision ... Hi Stefan, you can use more than one backend: See http://doc.otrs.org/3.2/en/html/external-backends.html#customer-data (section Using more than one customer backend with OTRS) - Renée On 29.08.2013 09:17, Stefan Michael Guenther wrote: Hello, am I right in assuming, that it is only possible to have ONE external customer user backend, but not more? Re: [otrs] Consistent AJAX communication errors are ruining my experience
What do the OTRS-/Webserver-logs say? I need some assistance! Now, to be fair, we never got far with the Oracle installation - even though I installed the DBD:Oracle Perl component the web installer never saw our Oracle database. The Linux attempts failed for reasons I can't recall now. I want this to work in Windows and it is there that I get the AJAX error! When I run CheckDB.pl I can see the dbase so I know its fine. I can create tickets but when I click an option that has to populate other fields (Like queue that populates Owner) they error pops up. It allows me to enter a few tickets without error, but the error always pops up after two or three tickets have been created! Any guidance is very, VERY appreciated! Thank you.
