If you are using a windows computer are you using the safely remove hardware
option before disconnecting the Zenstone
I've been having an unusual problem with my Zenstone the last couple of
months, and I'm hoping someone has a solution for me.
Sometimes when I delete files from the ZenStone, they show up as deleted,
however, when I unplug it from the computer and listen, they are still
there. They show up
If you are using a windows computer are you using the safely remove hardware
option before disconnecting the Zenstone? If you are using a mac are you
ejecting the Zenstone before disconnecting it? In either case that's one
reason that could be happening.

This is not my understanding of how USB drives work. I tried to find a
good reference to point to but I couldn't find one because I got so many
hits for utilities to create the equivalent of a recycle
for.

Yes, Audible's files are book marked by section so they'll jump but not so
with unmarked files.

Hi all, I own both the zenstone and the zenstone plus which is the 1gig
unit. I love them both, but the smaller zenstone which has the switch on
top instead of the push bar is much better to work with. You do not need
any software but as one other person mentioned, you only need to plug it
into
My worry about the two gig unit is that it's increased number of functions
will make it more difficult to navigate.

When we were at Target and Best Buy yesterday, my wife's reaction to the
Zen Stone 2gb was just that.
We, incidentally, ended up with the 2gb Sansa e250c -- a bit more
expensive at $99 but my sighted wife thought, that of all the units we saw
in person, this one had
the most readable
of them, you
still have the other to listen to.
