Hello everyone,
I had a few questions.
1. Does anyone have adobe audition 1.5 Wineyes sets?
2. does anyone have sound fordge 7 sets?
3. which of the above software packages is better for recording from a tape
casset at high speeds, and redusing the playback speed so it is understandable?
has anyone had a cance to check out this pc speaker package if so what are your
thoughts on the speaker system?

Hi,
I'm using an audigy zs and when I use the system volume controls to go into
the play setting and set the speaker balance to 50 percent it goes back to
zero as soon as I exit the volume control. All of my other settings are
being preserved. Has anyone seen this?
Thanks,

I haven't seen your specific problem, as I haven't had the need to change
balance since installing that sound card. But when using WindowEyes, checked
and unchecked items have occasionally failed to keep their new setting after
exiting. This does not happen every time, and when it does, my

The Archos players/recorders, you can download Rockbox and they'll speak the

Let me try to clarify. If I understand MP3 players, there are two basic
types of storage: one uses flash memory with no moving parts; the other
uses a hard drive which spins just like a computer hard drive and holds
greater amounts of storage. I thought the Archos players were of the

Hi all!
I have some questions about the rockbox firmware. I'm getting an archos on
Saturday and I want to have all of the facts straight. What are the advantages
of using the rockbox firmware as opposed to the firmware that comes with the
machine? What makes the Archos accessible? Can I buy
I don't know if they still make it or not, but I have a compact flash MuVo
from Creative Labs. I got it a year or two ago. It has 256M of flash
space. It has no display, so it's obviously quite accessible. It also
doesn't come with or need any PC software to transfer the files to the
MuVo.
Okay, first of all don't install the firm wear on the archos that comes w/
the unit, that's not acessible. Rockbox isv very accessible, I've used my
player w/ it and w/o it. Its easy to install. If you go to their web site
there is a FAQ for blind users. I have the Archos studio 20 recorder.
Go to www.rockbox.org for all of the technicle info, they're working on it
for IRIVER as well.
