junk. It seems that a lot of spam filters are seeing short messages
with a link as spam, whereas a lot of actual spam is getting through.

That tells me the problem is here in NC. Time Warner doesn't seem to have a
network status page that I can find, but a couple of third party network
problem maps are showing outages in Raleigh Charlotte.
It also seems to be intermittent with the server coming up occasionally.
