Thanks to all who looked and commented! Alan, a lot of this part of town was rather run-down when we moved here 39 years ago. It’ still easy to find very run-down neighborhoods in Philly, though there are fewer than there used to be. Ken, we started about 2pm and the light was rather harsh. My

GESO (15) - A Walk in Center City (Philly)

Tuesday I took a walk through Center City with a then-acquaintance (now friend) who is a retired professor in a nearby fine arts department, and a professional photographer. It was very interesting, a lot of fun, and we enjoyed an (imperial) pint of Bombardier Bitter in a local pub afterwards.

John, Thanks for your reply. What I mean by a lost DNG is a bit embarrassing: I took the card out of the camera, with 171 shots on it. I loaded them into my photo hard drive, removed the card, and then started a backup to a different hard drive. Then I went downstairs. Not being sufficiently

A bit dry-looking, for sure, nicely shot. There appear to be a lot of plants (like the two in the left foreground) that are about the same height, and don’t look like the pictures I find via Google for either mountain aloe or naboom. What are they? Are they all the same height because of fire?
