Good afternoon all,
My wife has a K-70, which has seen very light use (about 350 photosin 3 years).
She took it out to do some shooting this week, and everything seemed to work

The metering is working well. On
Last weekend, my wife and I drove about an hour west, and spent a night at a

Alan, a lot of this part of town was rather run-down when we moved here 39

Adirondacks were lost (the disk crash occurred as I was working on them in LR).
Alas I had already deleted the images from the SD card.

We took a trip to a reunion of my wife’s family (everyone fully immunized, and
tested within the previous 3 days). I took a whole bunch of photos, and started
sorting and editing in Lightroom…
…until the external hard drive that holds my photos snuffed it this morning.

Philadelphia was relatively spared yesterday. I watched the weather radar
frequently, and we had only moderate rain while areas to the east and west of
us got torrents.
We’re feeling the effects of the torrents to the west of us today, though. The

Very nice shot!
The background confuses me, though. Are those trees growing out of the water?
Reflected in the water?

My photographic muse has been very quiet lately, but I realized that I hadn’t
posted much of anything from Granada, which we visited on our trip to Spain in
2019. (Remember back then? One could travel and everything!).
Herewith some photos of the cathedral. Some of the side galleries are lit
We had several cherry tomato plants growing in pots, and doubted that they
would survive not being watered while we were on vacation.
So we picked everything, took it with us to New Hampshire, and waited to see
what would ripen.
One evening I took this photo:
Alan, I like these a lot. It’s nice of them to be flying colo(u)rful planes!

Saw it today in the carbon-based NYTimes. Some of the photos didn’t get in, so
I’m glad you sent the link!

Paul, both the writing and photography in that piece are great. I really
enjoyed them.

I like that photo: very geometric, and the “Closed” sign in the background is
poignant.

Sent this yesterday, but it doesn’t seem to have shown up on the PDML.
These loons were frequent visitors to the cove our cottage was on. I took this
on the fifth day of our two-week stay; by the end the chick was much larger,

on the fifth day of our two-week stay; by the end the chick was much larger,
and was sporting a white breast, and speckled white-and-black head and body
feathers. By late September it will probably follow its parents
to work the best.
That is a mooring bouy in the foreground, that had a sailing catamaran tied to
it the next day.

Just back from two weeks beside a New Hampshire lake. I did less shooting than
usual; in fact the photo-muse has been rather quiet all summer.
This is from early in our trip:
