Would it help to ease the temptation if you knew there was someone working feverishly through every channel imaginable to raise the $250, is /this/ close to it and expects to have the rest by Monday -- and that this is likely as close as that person will ever get to having a prosumer-type DSLR

I listed the Konika - starting real cheap and BIN cheap (for what I paid for the Pentax flash at the Sal Army yesterday. Anyone need one cheap grab it. I jsut don't know for sure ALL the cameras it will work on but you will One annoyance - it wan't in ebay's catalogue and they nagged me about

Cotty, I don't have any experience, but the same lens (I think) is available at BH for $40 less. I've been looking at this lenses for some time. Overall, - there are 3 or 4 modifications of it: Bower, Rokinon, Vivitar... (maybe Samyang?) I always forget who makes it - Bower or Samyang.
