The eagle shot is nice, but it's crying out for levels adjustment and rendering
finesse. The best Pentax converter is the DA 1.4X, but it vignettes a bIt on
full frame. All the A series converters yield sharp images, but they're manual
focus.

Wow is my reaction to this article. Author carefully tests the light
quality from 28 available LED products and also thoroughly explains
his measuring criteria, methods, and baseline sources, like the sun.
Especially interesting is how he shows that CRI is actually very
misleading when comparing

The HD DFA645 28-45 is a ridiculously good landscape lens, it runs
rings around the 15-30/2.8 Tamron for edge to edge sharpness, flare
resistance and lack of CA.

Thanks for commenting, Ken.
Actually a good deal of compositional thought went into these, and I’d
appreciate your suggestions.
In the first one, I intended the in-focus blossoms to make a “swoosh” beginning
upper left and ending upper right. In LR I added 1/2 stop to it to help it
stand out
I like it. The DOF is just right, and the unopened blossom adds a lot.

Very nice, Rick. I have very fond memories of a day in Sintra a couple
years back, and your photos bring those memories bubbling back.

You're getting some pretty remarkable results, both in the quality of
images and also in the numbers and varieties of birds you are spotting.
These warblers are great and none too common!

Thanks, Rick. There were a lot of nice Iris in this bunch, but I selected
this because of the location of the unopened blossom.

Hi Rick - my take FWIW -
In the first one, I intended the in-focus blossoms to make a “swoosh”
beginning upper left and ending upper right. In LR I added 1/2 stop to it
to help it stand out from the background. I tried a few different
apertures; this one (f/6.7) probably has a little too much
