I run a 2012 MBP maxxed out and SSD, best machine ever had. Only got it as the 2010 MBP ket rebooting with heavy editing use - graphics issue. The 2010 was handed down to my wife who obvs doesn't video edit or mash graphics - BUT as the years progressed, more and more websites require graphics

Well, I did the B render, and just to make Ann and Cotty happy, (though why anyone would want to make Cotty happy is beyond me), I tried a new crop.  I was able to do most of the work in DxO Mark with just a couple of steps in Photoshop.  If they had a text tool...

No, no. I was evaluating AP as a possible substitute for Photoshop. So Edit-in-Affinity must be able to accept a TIFF file, edit that into a layered TIFF, then write it back to Lightroom, just like Photoshop does. Ie: the workflow expected by your regular Lightroom user. It can't do that. So ...
