I think, a darker mood might have made me happier.
A more dramatic light, some shadow play and a B conversion might help.

I run a 2012 MBP maxxed out and SSD, best machine ever had. Only got it as the
2010 MBP ket rebooting with heavy editing use - graphics issue. The 2010 was
handed down to my wife who obvs doesn't video edit or mash graphics - BUT as

Well, I did the B render, and just to make Ann and Cotty happy,
(though why anyone would want to make Cotty happy is beyond me), I tried
a new crop. I was able to do most of the work in DxO Mark with just a
couple of steps in Photoshop. If they had a text tool...

Using Firefox 63.0.1 the image initially comes up huge, with the mouse
cursor showing as a magnifying glass containing a plus sign. Clicking
on the image returns the cursor and the image to "normal".

You don't _make_ a layered file in Lightroom. You receive one back

No, no. I was evaluating AP as a possible substitute for Photoshop. So
Edit-in-Affinity must be able to accept a TIFF file, edit that into a
layered TIFF, then write it back to Lightroom, just like Photoshop
does. Ie: the workflow expected by your regular Lightroom user.
It can't do that. So ...
I have a cheap Slik, tripod. So cheap in fact that they're too
embarrassed to even show them on their website, so they hide it. However
I had acquired three different plates, (also cheap plastic), which was
good because I lose things all the time...
Well you know where this is going. I

I tested their final beta a couple of years ago.
