We're now in Torcross after two more magnificent days of walking the

At Radnor Lake a nice nature area here in Nashville there are several
different Barred Owls that call it home. This is from a visit where one
of them graced me with their presence.

The snake photo is cool also, but seems a bit overexposed to me. I'm

That's what I do, and the battery life isn't noticeably impaired. It
goes to sleep after a minute (by default) and sleep mode is pretty
much as power-frugal as Power-Off. One touch on the shutter button and
it comes awake, faster
I almost always have my mode dial on P. Thanks to HyperProgram, it is
extremely versatile and there's no fumbling.
I turn mine off, though; I carry it on my right with the strap over my
right shoulder and the lens facing inward, and it awakens if it's
merely asleep.
