I like Lagavulin 16, and it was once my favorite, but it's price has doubled in

Boris my father died almost 20 years ago from congestive heart failure.
It was expected, but it hurt. He was a relatively young man, in this age
of medical miracles. It still hurts, but only occasionally, and it's
bearable.

I like this as well, Boris. I’m divided on the cranes. I think I might like it
better without them, since it’s not just a sea and sky photo. There’s a lot of
drama in the clouds and the proportioning is interesting. But it’s quite good

It is a nice picture, but I am curious about a certain aspect of it that
might be a characteristic of the lens:
The background (especially the green from the tree right in the middle of
the photo) seems to have some type of high-frequency "jitter".
I wonder what's the origin of that?

Looks like you are in some good company with the other 20 images.
It was good to see all the judges had photographic backgrounds. I've stopped
entering photo contests when none of the judges have that.
