That looks like the shop I bought my first SLR from. It was a dark grungy little hole-in-the wall place that used to be in downtown Raleigh. Inside was something like Olevander's wand shop out of the Harry Potter movies. It was a one man operation that closed up when the old man died. A shame

I love Central Camera on Wabash and always try to stop in there when downtown. A few years ago I had memorable conversation with the owner who talked about the great history of the shop in his family over the years. I hope they stay around - though for Pentax lenses and other years, they don't
