Interesting shapes and textures.

To use AV, the camera needs to know which stop the lens is set to. With no
couplings, no info.
So no go.

One thing that would be nice in those all-manual lenses is a fast option for
stopping down to a predetermined f-stop. Some kind of button to press, when
your composition and focus is adjusted.
The bellows-A has such a button built into the shutter cable connector. Its
implementation pulls the
If the lens stops down as you turn the aperture ring, basically like a
preset mechanism, why not set the camera mode to Av. Then one dial will
work to change shutter speed and the other to either adjust ISO or
exposure compensation. I'd use comp, could make a case for either.
Using manual
I wouldn't get your hopes up too high. There's no way K-14 is coming
back. The best you can hope for is some kodachrome flavored e-6 film.

Very nice. Almost has an Islamic style to it.

I would guess that it has a great deal of Islamic influence, given where it is
and when it was built. Even cathedrals in the North of England show distinct
Islamic influences.

Yeah, sometimes I take pics of birds in motion like hummingbirds near

show it hitting the focus spot on repeatedly on really fast birds in

Well the Venus (Laowa) 60mm 2.8 macro lens (2:1) came. I'm very
impressed with the packaging. It comes with a nice protective pouch,
but the very nice thing was that it came in a vacuum packed wrapper
around the lens, assuring that no dust would get in at any time. It

A display of old coins in the gorgeous Golbenkian Museum in Lisbon.
Unfortunately I cannot recall what sort of coins they are. It was their

Just took a closeup of Jackson on a $20 bill at the closest focus
distance. 2:1 Not too bad for a cheap Chinese lens.

Thanks for all of the comments!
At one point the whole Iberian peninsula was Islamic, so yes, the influences on
art, architecture, and even food are strong.

Going through some old files and came across this. Taken with the
*ist-Ds and F 70-210mm f4~5.6, at least that's what I think I used,
though it could be the K20D and Vivitar S1 70-210mm f2.8~4.0. I'd have
to go back and look at the original file and I'm just too lazy at the
moment.
There is no aperture linking at all. If you stop it down, the view
gets dim and you need to press the green button to meter. So
essentially you focus at 2.8, stop down to the aperture you want,
meter with the green button, and snap the pic. Its a pain, but if
your subject is static, not much
