I setup Slimserver and softsqueeze this weekend, and at first I also
couldn't get it to work on any PC other than the one the server was

However, I switched the skin to Squeezebox, (rather than the default

Hey there.
I recently got a squeezebox (back in January) and decided I'd like to

Here are a couple of ideas
1. Your computer is possessed.

Could you please restart the server with the d_plugins option turned on to
see what the logfile says? Do you have a Plugins/TimeSpeller folder and
does slimserver have the privileges to access it
I run Firefox and Konqueror side by side and the drop down box scrolling
only occurs on Konqueror.
There may be some startup error - you may get a useful message if you
startup with d_plugins.
Otherwise I'd advise to clear all caches - Slimserver and Firefox.

Not everyone would see this bug, but if the plugin was giving incorrect

AFAICT there are two possibilities to add d_plugins at startup.
1. Change default setting in fiule /etc/default/slimserver.default
change SLIMOPTIONS= to SLIMOPTIONS=--d_plugins
or
2. Change options setting in startup file /etc/init.d/slimserver.init
change SLIMOPTIONS= to
