Squeezeboxes? Although if you're waiting for documentation from LastFM I won't hold my breath... Sorry. :( Yes Last.fm and scrobbling will be supported on SN and should work on old SB's. -- andyg andyg's Profile: http

Ah, I don't plan on doing anything outside the official API because they could break it at any time. -- andyg andyg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3292 View this thread: http

It's just a client pref, I don't think you need anything special to change it via CLI. -- andyg andyg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3292 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com

I didn't add exclude genres because I'm not entirely convinced it's needed. You can setup multiple accounts and select which player scrobbles to which account. I would think this should be enough to keep the kids' music from being scrobbled on your account. :) -- andyg

Re: [SlimDevices: Plugins] How to improve synchronization?

We've got a big patch coming soon to improve sync, Softsqueeze should play in sync much better after it's applied. -- andyg andyg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3292 View this thread: http

Do you mean from within SlimServer? Try SlimServer 7 trunk, it's already there (somewhat). -- andyg andyg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=3292 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com

Make sure you don't have any firewalls on your Rhapsody PC that would prevent the SB from directly connecting to it. If it still doesn't work, can you add --d_slimproto to your debug flags and get another log? -- andyg

You're probably thinking of the older unofficial RealSlim plugin, which was a bit of a hack. Not sure why it would hang, is the Rhapsody client logged in on your PC? Try enabling the debugging options d_upnp, d_plugins, d_parse and d_directstream. -- andyg

Equal signs are OK in XML. I recommend getting and using an XML validator. My favorite XML validator is the xmllint command-line app that is part of libxml. -- andyg andyg's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com

OPML files need to be valid UTF-8 XML. Ampersands need to be entered as amp; for example. Try running the file through an XML validator such as http://www.stg.brown.edu/service/xmlvalid/ and fix all errors you find. -- andyg
