Does ExecuteScript-Plugin (for SqueezeCenter 7) work on Linux, too? Is
it possible to use ExecuteScript-Plugin to shutdown the server (like
the ShutdownServer-Plugin does)?

yes. it's been developed on linux. as long as you create a script and
it has permissions needed to call shutdown, then you can do that.

I may well be wrong about importing having problems with length.
There does seem to be a problem, but I now think it is with a space in
the file path.
Even with a short path, I got an error importing when the file name or
the path to the file had a space in it.
I tried both with the space as
On Suse Importing a file with a space in the name (e.g Cla ssical.m3u
) worked OK without any need for an escape.
I prefix the path with file:// so test file became
file:///home/temp/Cla ssical.m3u
What is the full path that you are tyring ?

I tried several ways of entering the file name. For instance
/Users/danco/Friday Play.m3u
gave an error, as did
/Users/danco/Friday\ Play.m3u
whereas, when I altered the name by removing the space,
/Users/danco/FridayPlay.m3u was fine.
Also, following your suggestion,
Lots of points.
In 6.5 AlienStreams and some of m3u support was within AlienBBC. The
import facility is now part of SC7 and so any bugs are part of SC7
and need to reported as such.
I think the Alienstream feature in AlienBBC was implemented to provide
support for hierarchical lists of URLs

OK, I'll mention it on the main forum. I don't like actually posting a

Hi Liam,
SqueezeScrobbler has merged with the LastFM plugin.
You just need to install the 'SqueezeScrobbler' directory and its
contents in your 'Plugins' folder and that's it.

Lazyness? Or the fact that not all users need it? Some of those files

I tried adding 'block' = 1 after duration =2 for the showBriefly call for

You may want to slip that change into your next version

What happens when you try to change settings? They should work.
Are you using the web interface or the screen?

I might have to write the plug-in myself, or maybe I could modify kdf's

You shouldn't have to rewrite the SC7 version, as long as you have a
