Running Linux on a Q40
I get the following message displayed, I am using Pine, any suggestions

Oops, didn't intend to imply that I would be trying to use PPP through
a network card - just two separate questions merged into one.

NE2000 ethernet cards for the Q40 and Q60 should have configuration jumpers

Thanks for all that info. Looks like I will have to get Linux running
for the time being then, when I can free up a bigger disk from another
machine; as you said, time is short - list of jobs long. I think I
have an old Novell card in the loft, I will check it out.
