My brother in law works for lexmark (senior sales director) and I asked
him why Parallel has become extinct on cheap inkjets - he said ( as far
as he knows) it is because the Parallel interface is copyrighted and owned
by centronics, and royalties must be paid, whereas USB can be adopted
to begin with?
Or buy a BIC Pen - much cheaper than an inkjet anyway :-))

Dilwyn always underestimates what a truly gifted QL programmer he is.
All I can say is, if you like Q-Trans, wait until you see Launchpad.
It comes with a free additional game called decimal Invaders. I have wasted
DAYS playing this damn thing, its addictive as hell!!

Colin was one of the nicest gentlemen you could care to meet. I must say I'm
in shock after hearing this news. I'll miss him and his cheerful nature.
He was a decent man and the QL scene will be at a loss without him.

Cheers,

topic of the decade is out.
For years now there have been jokes flying between us over how much Irishmen
and Welshmen like sheep - We've even bought each other some. (Dilwyn got me
a nice blow up one last time!!)
Even when he worked
